Our read
The Reveal Pro 4.0 is the camera to look at if you want to see your stand from your phone. It is the only camera here sold with a dual flash, so you can run low-glow for range or no-glow where people walk past, and Tactacam sells Live View as a $6 monthly add-on.
The radio side is newer than most of the field. The August 2026 FCC filing shows a Sequans Cat 1bis modem and seven LTE band groups, including Band 14. That doesn’t promise better coverage on your farm, but it is a wider list than any Moultrie Edge grant shows.
Independent testing puts the flash and detection closer to average than the spec suggests: TrailCamPro measured 80 ft of detection and a 0.4 s trigger, and found the 4K setting is interpolated. Battery life is the standout, at about a year on lithium AAs in their model.
Bottom line: Best for hunters who want Live View and a no-glow option from one camera. If you don’t need either, the Reveal X 4.0 measured faster and costs $30 less.

0.4 s photo trigger in TrailCamPro's test TrailCamPro review
About a tenth of a second slower than the spec. That is still quick for a trail, but it isn't the fastest Tactacam on paper or in testing; the cheaper Reveal X 4.0 measured 0.29 s.

The article contradicts itself. The product page also describes a dual flash, so we treat the chart row as an error until Tactacam fixes it.

The camera upsizes a smaller sensor image to reach 4K. Pick it for the detection and flash, not the pixel count.
